This post will have several upcoming events and activities and services that we want everyone to be aware of. Please read the entire post so that you know what is happening here at CV!!!
The next few Wednesday services, March29th and April 5th, we will not be looking at James, but we will be doing a study into events leading up to Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday in the life of Jesus Christ and His disciples. Please make sure to join us either IN-HOUSE or on LIVE FEED at 6:30pm at http://cvcog.online, our Roku Channel (download Sermon.net and search for Coosa Valley), or on our YouTube Channel.
Palm Sunday is this coming Sunday, April 2nd. During the Morning Worship, our Praise Team will lead us in a time of Praise and Worship followed by a look at the life of Christ on Palm Sunday leading to His trial, death and resurrection.
Holy Week Services will be held Monday through Friday, April 3rd – 7th at First United Methodist Church in Pell City; this is an annual Pell City Ministerial Association event for our Community. All who are able, I encourage you to be at these services as it is a time for our Community as a whole to lay aside any differences we may have and join together as we look toward Resurrection Sunday!
On Saturday April 8th, Coosa Valley along with the City of Pell City and other area local churches will be joining together for a Community Easter Egg Hunt at Lakeside Park near Kids Kastle from 11am – 1pm. There will be Hot Dogs, Face Painting, and other activities for the family. Anyone who is able, please join us at 8:30am to help with setup at the Park. This will be a great time for our church family to fellowship with one another, other churches and our community. I am encouraging everyone to join and wear your CV SHIRT. Our church will be helping to provide water and hot dog buns. You can help with this financially by giving $5 and marking it WATER.
RESURRECTION SUNDAY!!! He is not here, HE IS RISEN!!! Join us on April 9th, Resurrection Sunday for a great day of Praise and Worship and a look at one of the BIGGEST reasons that Christians have to celebrate … JESUS and the fact that AIN’T NO GRAVE holding Him DOWN!!! Let’s take a look at WHAT HE’S DONE!!!
