Are You Willing to Get Into a Spiritual Fight?

2 Chronicles 20:14–17 ESV

And the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, east of the wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.”

Everyone likes to quote verse 15, but we seems to forget prior to and after this verse.

God is wanting to know are you willing to go into SPIRITUAL BATTLE?

The last 6-8 weeks we talked about keeping the blessings God has given us. We feel all warm and fuzzy when we talk about God’s blessing our health, our family, our finances and so on, but we sometimes stop and don’t think about the Warfare and Battle that it takes to get us there and stay there … there is a place in the middle of God’s Blessings.

Over the next couple of Sunday Mornings, we are going to look at “mini” declarations about Spiritual Warfare and how WE as God’s Children need to use what God has given to us for Battle.

My Word Will Give You Power to Demolish Strongholds

Psalm 119:104 ESV

Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Jeremiah 23:29 ESV

Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

As you continue to take a stand on the promises I have given you in My Word, you will be able to demolish the satanic strongholds around you. My Word is more powerful than the raging fires that cause destruction and death wherever they rage. My Word is a strong fire that will burn up the works of wickedness. Do you hate every false way that Satan uses to sidetrack people from the path of life onto the path of death? Do you want to see changes in your city, region, and nation? I have given you the power to represent My kingdom and to even change geographic regions. You are a king in My kingdom, and your word is filled with authority and power against the kingdoms of this evil world. Stand firm in the power I have given you. Don’t suffer unnecessarily by failing to exercise your authority in Me.

PRAYER DECLARATION:

O God, I will use Your Word like a powerful hammer to break down all of Satan’s defensive borders. Your Word will spread like a wild fire throughout the enemy’s domain, burning up all his works of darkness.

I Will Cause You to Break Through any Demonic Opposition

Psalm 144:1 ESV

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;

Ephesians 6:10 ESV

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Jeremiah 33:3 ESV

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Through your prayers to Me, My power can flow. Never forget that My Word and My Holy Spirit are your source of power. Stand strong in Me and in the power of My might. I am a mighty man of war, and I will fight your battles for you. You can depend on My power and direction. I will be the strength of your life. Meditate upon My Word. Speak forth My Word with your mouth. I am the source for all your victories and breakthroughs. My Word contains wisdom and strategies for your warfare. As you study My Word, I will lead you forward to liberty and victory over every demonic force that comes against you. As you call upon Me, I will answer you and will show you great and mighty things that you do not know.

PRAYER DECLARATION:

I praise my Lord who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge.

Let Me Remind You of Who You Are

Romans 8:16–17 ESV

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.

For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love

I have seen the times when you felt alone … abandoned … helpless, and I want to remind you of who you really are. Allow My Holy Spirit to touch your spirit and confirm who you really are. I am Your Father; you are My child! There is an unbelievable inheritance waiting for you! My own dear Son gave His life so that you could live. You have been created anew and are clothed in My own righteousness. I have given you eternal life through My Son. I created you to do good works and gave you My promise that you can do all things through the power of My Son, who strengthens you. You have My mind; your life is hidden in Me; and because My Son lives in you, you have been filled with the hope of sharing in My glory. Through the work of My Son, all your needs will be supplied. You are Mine!

PRAYER DECLARATION:

Father, You gave me Your Spirit to make me wise and to help me understand what it means to know You. Your light floods my heart with the hope of the glorious blessings and the wonderful power You have for me.

My Blessings Are for You

Numbers 6:22–27 ESV

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”

Deuteronomy 28:1–14 ESV

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. Psalm 37:26 ESV

He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing.

Psalm 68:19 ESV

Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah

Today I am giving you My promise of blessing, just as I blessed My people long ago. I will bless you and keep you. I will make My face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. I will lift up my countenance upon you and give you peace. Because you are my faithful child and obey My voice, I will make the work of your hands successful. I will help you to defeat your enemies and make your storehouses full. I will send rain on your land at just the right time, and you will have plenty of money to lend and will not need to borrow any for yourself. As long as you obey My Word, you will be wealthy and powerful, not poor and weak.

PRAYER DECLARATION:

Father, let Your showers of blessing be upon my life. I am chosen by God, my sins are forgiven, and I am blessed. Daily You load me with benefits, and my seed is blessed. You will bless my latter end more than my beginning.

My Blessings Are For Your Family and Loved Ones

Psalm 127:3 ESV

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Proverbs 14:26–27 ESV

In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.

Mark 10:13–16 ESV

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Your family and loved ones are a heritage and a reward from Me. My blessings will be upon your family, and My shield of protection will surround them. Have confidence in Me, and I will make a place of refuge for your family. While you walk in integrity, your children will be blessed after you. Teach My ways to your children, so that I can continue to pour My blessings upon them. My part is to bless your children, and your part is to teach them My ways. Talk about them all the time—whether you are at home or away, in the morning or at night. Teach your children to love My Word. Tell your children of My great love for them. Remind them of My Son’s special love for children, and bring your children into My presence.

PRAYER DECLARATION

I praise the Lord, for His angels are ever near to protect my family. The Lord will perform His Word in my children. Nothing will harm them. God Almighty will save my children, and they will delight in Him. All my loved ones will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.

I Will Reveal Each Step You Are To Take

Isaiah 2:3 ESV

and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

And he said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,

I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,

Come to Me and I will teach you My ways so that you can walk in My paths. If you will walk in obedience to me and keep My requirements, then you will govern My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here. PRAYER DECLARATION

Lord, I am blessed because I walk according to Your Word. You have laid down precepts for me to obey, and my ways will be steadfast in obeying Your ways. I will praise You with an upright heart as I obey Your decrees, and You will never forsake me.
