Just wanted to remind each of us of the upcoming Christmas Activities happening at CV over the weekend.
- Saturday, December 10, 2022 – Men’s Christmas Breakfast with Pastor Andy at Jack’s in Pell City at 8:30 a.m.; come and let’s have a great time of fellowship.
- Sunday, December 11, 2022 – Church Family Christmas Fellowship at 4:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall; let’s enjoy a time of finger food and wonderful fellowship with our church family. What to bring? We are asking you, if you are able, to bring finger foods of any type, a dessert, or a 12 pack of can drinks. Let’s join together as a church family for a great time of fellowship. This is a perfect opportunity to have fellowship and get to know more about each other in our church family. Looking forward to seeing each of you Sunday evening at 4:30pm!!!
- Sunday, December 11, 2022 – Sunday School Class Door voting begins; we will have the pictures of each door on our social media pages and on the screens at church; of course, you are welcome to go upstairs to see the doors as well. We will have containers in the foyer for the $1 vote, all monies will go to the Home for Children. Voting ends on Sunday, December 18, 2022. (on this date ONLY) the first person that comes up to Miss Kati and says “and the cow jumped over the moon” will receive a $20 Zaxby’s gift card (on this date ONLY).
Also, this Sunday, our Praise Team has an AWESOME lineup of songs to lead us in Worship to God, followed by “What Does Christmas Mean?” I am looking forward to this Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11:00am with our CV FAMILY!!! Prior to Worship, at 9:45am, our Sunday School Classes have great lessons lined up, in which our teachers have spent time in the Word and Prayer leading up to this class time, in preparation for YOU!!! I encourage each of you to set the alarm clock an hour earlier and BE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS. This is an important time of digging into the Word of God together!!!
