PROPHETIC CALLINGS
- Godly Shepherd Turned Prophet (Amos 1:1-2; 7:10-17)
- Watcher and Writer (Habakkuk 1:1-11; 2:1-3)
- The Twice-Called Prophet (Jonah 1:1-3; 3:1-5)
Central Truth: God calls and equips some believers to minister as prophets.
Focus: Consider God’s calling of Amos, Habakkuk, and Jonah, and respond personally to His call.
Evangelism Emphasis: God calls us to reach unbelievers for Him.
Golden Text: “I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets” (Hosea 12:10).
