Just a few announcements for this Saturday Morning …

 

NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS ~ We are SO EXCITED about this NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS that starts this Sunday, September 4, 2022 for our Young Adults (ages 19-30). This new class will be focusing on each student learning how to study the Bible for yourself. The class will be looking at topics, scriptures and more to urge a deeper relationship with God. Be sure to make plans NOW to be in attendance in this AWESOME CLASS that starts at 9:45am on each Sunday!!!
HOW DID THE EARLY CHURCH SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE? ~ Looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday, September 4, 2022 as we move from CHURCH ON A MISSION to the early Church Spreading around the world like Wildfire.

 

 

 

NEW WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY FOCUS ~ This coming Wednesday, September 7, 2022, we are moving into a new season for Bible Study called GATHERED BIBLE STUDY. This will be a time for more focused and directed Bible Study as we dig deeper into God’s Word to help our lives GROW stronger in God. We have classes for ALL ages and are excited to see what God is going to do through each of us at CV!!! Classes include our KIDZ (ages 4-12), Teens and Young Adults (Ages 13-30) and Adults. Come and be a part of what God is doing at CV!!!

 

 

LET’S GET BACK CELEBRATION ~ We are EXCITED to have Mark Moore and Perfect Vision 20-20 with us on Sunday, September 18th at 11:00am for a great time of Praise & Worship, followed by a wonderful time of Fellowship, Food and Fun!!! We will have lunch (BBQ & Chicken Fingers), water slide and outdoor games, and Southern Snow Shaved Ice will be stopping by as well. This is the first BIG event that we have had in three years and we are EXCITED to see EVERYONE – so – INVITE INVITE INVITE!!!!!

 

 

NURSERY ~ We are currently seeking volunteers for the nursery. This needs to be a two person team who are willing to be a part of the nursery team to cover the Sunday School timeframe (Sunday 9:40am – 10:45am) and Morning Worship (10:45am – 12:30pm) and Wednesday Bible Study (6:25pm – 7:30pm). Each person MUST pass a background check before any consideration will be given. If you would like to be on this rotation schedule, please see Pastor Andy or text him on his cell or text the church (205.642.8744).

 

 

CV KIDZ VOLUNTEERS ~ Just as a reminder, we need volunteers on Wednesday evening to help with our CV KIDZ class. If you would like to be a part of the rotation, please see Pastor Andy, text him on his cell, or text the church (205.642.8744). All volunteers MUST pass a background check BEFORE any consideration will be given.

 

 

BUILDING FUND ~ Just as a reminder, we have the Building Fund Project for the AC Units. If you would like to contribute, please use the tithe envelopes and mark BUILDING MAINTENANCE or you can give online by visiting https://cvcog.church/give for all our ONLINE GIVING OPTIONS.
