Alabama Church of God | Redemption Youth Camp 2025
Dear Coosa Valley Family,
This Information Post is about Youth Camp this year, please STOP and take a few moments to read the ENTIRE post, all the way down to Pastor Andy’s name at the end. THANK YOU!!!
We are approaching Youth Camp time again!!! We have several already that are wanting to attend this year. As with times in the past, our CV FAMILY sponsors each student. This year the cost is $125 (Early Bird Registration which ends April 14, 2025). Parents, please note that of the full payment, $75 is non-transferable and non-refundable as a deposit, so if your student is wanting to attend, please make sure all plans are made for them to attend. We usually also give them $25 for the canteen as well.
The Dates this year are as follows:
- High School Camp; June 9-13; Grades 9-12
- Middle School Camp; June 16-20; Grades 6-8
- Kids Camp; June 23-27; Grades 4-5
- Junior Camp; June 30-July 3; Grades 1-3
NOTE: Grade level marked is for the UPCOMING school year.
All campers will be taken to youth camp on Monday of the week they are camping by Pastor Andy & Sis. Kerri. We will also pick them up on the last day of camp. We will leave the church on Monday at 10:30am and then be back at the church on Friday (Thursday of Junior Camp) around 10:00am-10:30am.
If your child would like to attend camp this year, we will need to register them at church PRIOR to Monday, April 14, 2025. Please get with Pastor Andy, Sis. Kerri or Sis. Stephanie ASAP about setting up a time to register your child for camp. We hope this will be an exciting time for each student that attends this year.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? First, we need to join together in PRAYER for all students, speakers and staff members that will be attending this year. We hope and pray that this will be the best year ever!!! Second, if you are able to help sponsor a student (even your own child), some or all of their camp tuition, please let us know. You can give during the regular service, online at https://cvcog.church/give and please mark it CV TEENS, and you can also give via PayPal, CashApp or Venmo as well. Be sure to let us know so it can be mark correctly.

PARENTS one of the BIGGEST questions that we usually get is about PACKING! We usually suggest a couple of bath towels and washcloths, along with other bathroom necessities, which would include soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant. Now that those items are listed, as far as clothes, be sure to pack clothes for play time each day and church clothes each evening. The play clothes would need to be something for rainy days or sunshine days and something you might not care if it comes clean. They also need PJs for night time and bathing suits for swim time. All clothing needs to be modest in appearance. Swimming time would be NON-CoEd, meaning girls separate from boys. Beyond clothing, they will need something for the bed at night; you can send either a sleeping bag or sheets and blanket, your choice. DO NOT FORGET THE PILLOW! Fewer bags the better, because there is NOT a lot of space in the cabins. Other items needed would be their bible, pen and paper, hat, sunglasses, crocs and flip-flops as well as running or play shoes and something for church time, sunblock and bug spray. If your child is on any medication, it will need to be placed into a zip-lock bag with a small photo of your child, along with detailed instructions on how to take this medication. ALL medication will be turned into the nurse at the beginning of camp and picked up at the end of camp. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, we will answer when we register. Closer to time, we may get word for theme days, if we do this year, we will pass that information along.
