Truth: God's Word instructs children to honor and obey their parents.
Focus: Highlight and reinforce the truth that children must honor and obey their parents.
Emphasis: Submitting one's life wholly to Christ can enrich family relationships.

Golden Text: Ephesians 6:2–3 (ESV) ~ “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”
