Living What We Believe (October 29, 2023)

PASSAGES: Matthew 28:18-20

We must KNOW what we believe in order to LIVE what we believe. Biblical knowledge and doctrine alone will NOT be enough. We must take bible knowledge and doctrine, as well as a relational discipleship within our church family to create a transformational life-change.

Making disciples is all about developing true followers of Jesus Christ while understanding that the person and work of the Holy Spirit himself is intimately and undeniable involved in this life long process. It is the Holy Spirit that helps us to become more like Jesus.

Over the next several weeks, we are going to be looking at discipleship, with the understanding that we as disciples are to go forth and make more disciples for Christ. We need to know that the Great Commission can be fulfilled.

Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV) ~ And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
