PRINCIPLES FOR THE CHRISTIAN HOUSEHOLD
- Be a Christlike Example (Colossians 3:16-17; Titus 2:1-8)
- Provide Godly Instruction and Discipline (Proverbs 22:6; 4:20-27; 13:24; 19:18)
- Encourage Obedience and Kindness (Ephesians 6:1-4; Deuteronomy 5:16; Colossians 3:20-21)
Central Truth: God blesses the family that lives by His Word.
Focus: Survey and obey God’s commands for the Christian household.
Evangelism Emphasis: Families who live by Biblical principles are a Christian testimony to unbelievers.
Golden Text: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
