Fear – Not of God
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
First we need to look at what this fear is talking about. This word fear is used only 1 time in the bible to mean this – timidity. We have to understand that fear is a physical trait that humans are born with. The type of fear that is being talked about here is on the SPIRITUAL side. NOTE Paul says “spirit of fear”.
