It's Time to Worship

"When I think about the Lord, How He saved me how, He raised me, How He filled me with the Holy Ghost, How He healed me to the uttermost, When I think about the Lord, How He picked me up and turned me around, How He placed my feet on solid ground ..."
This song has always sparked some excited inside of me, as I hope it does for you. You really need to STOP and listen to those words to understand exactly what is going on; what God has done for some; what God can do for YOU!
I know that you have heard this time and time again from me, but the fact remains, we come to God's House to Worship Him. YES, everyone worships in so many different ways - clap, raised hands, sway from side to side, and more - but, no matter how we worship, we need to worship.
When we stop to think about what all has happened over the last few years, it seems like it should be hard to worship, however, all of these things should cause us to want to worship even more. But worship isn't defined by a time or a place, by being in church or even singing. True worship is not confined to what we do in church or open praise (although these are both good and we are instructed in the Bible to do both.) True worship is the acknowledgement of God and all His power and glory in our every day lives; the acknowledgement of God and all His power and glory in everything that we do.
IN EVEYTHING WE DO!
Worship is to glory and exalt God - to show our loyalty and admiration to our Heavenly Father, through everything that we do.
John 4:24 (ESV) ~ God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
Romans 12:1–2 (ESV) ~ I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
